The BEST and WORST Office Christmas Stories

I put out a blast, asking you all to share your best/worst Christmas party stories and I thought it would be fun to share some of them. I hope you enjoy them.

Office Christmas Parties

​They only served meat

“At one of our christmas parties, they served all of the meat they had as leftovers from the restaurant. I've never seen so much meat in all variations. The chef, who was from Turkey, seemed to be as proud as hell. But we had many vegetarians in the company (like myself) and so the bread and salad, that was only meant as a side dish, was gone first.”​

We flooded an amusement park

“ Last year, two days were spent in an amusement park closed for the winter and covered in snow. During the evening, the bar closed at 3 a.m., the party continued in the rooms, and a guy fell asleep in the shower. He clogged the drain and caused flooding in the neighboring rooms and those below.”

We had to work off our Christmas lunch break

“Had a boss who got us to stop a job to take us for Christmas lunch. We then had to go back to work and finished late that day by the exact amount of time that the meal had taken”

Charged to attend the party

“ We were told how much it would cost to attend the Christmas party. I believe two people attended ”

​I Met Samuel Jackson

“One work Christmas Party in a fancy hotel but in a medium-sized city in Canada, a co-worker noticed that Samuel L Jackson was hanging out in the lobby. My friend got a picture. I don’t generally approach celebrities but that was pretty cool and random to see him there.”
